Start of DSA application process

Application for DSA-Sec can be submitted through the online DSA-Sec Portal. Please refer to MOE website – www.moe.gov.sg/dsa-sec

For applicants not studying in MOE mainstream primary schools, please refer to MOE website at:

https://go.gov.sg/nmsdsa-sec-application for more information.

Parents/ guardians who are unable to apply online can approach their child’s primary school for assistance.

Application Period

An applicant may indicate up to 3 choices through the DSA-Sec Portal.

Information to provide in the portal:

·       Valid email address and local mobile number.

·       Applicants studying in mainstream primary schools will have their primary school information shared directly with the DSA-Sec schools that they are applying to. It is optional to indicate non-school-based activities and achievements.

Selection Exercise (Trials/Auditions/Interviews)

You will receive notification from the school if your child/ward has been shortlisted to undergo DSA selection.

Dates of the trial/audition/interview will be provided to shortlisted applicants.

Applicants should attend the in-person selection only if they are feeling well. Otherwise, they may be disqualified from the selection. For applicants who are unwell, schools will re-schedule the selection exercise    

Selection Outcome

All applicants will receive their application outcomes from the school via email.

School Preference Submission

19 Oct, 9 am

23 Oct, 4.30 pm

Applicants who receive at least one DSA-Sec offer (including from SOTA) will receive SMS and email from Postman.gov.sg.

Only one parent is required to log in to the DSA-Sec Portal to submit school preferences. If parents are unable to submit online, they can approach their child’s primary school for assistance.

DSA-Sec offers not taken up will be considered as lapsed at the end of the School Preference Submission period.

Results Release

By Late Nov

(Tentative)

The results of the DSA-Sec Exercise will be released to students, on the same day as the release of the PSLE results.

Successful DSA-Sec applicants are NOT allowed to participate in the S1 posting exercise and are NOT allowed to transfer to another school after the release of the PSLE results.

Unsuccessful DSA-Sec applicants will be notified to participate in the S1 Posting to submit school choices
