The Boys' Brigade President's Award 2026: Lee Hong Jie

SCL Lee Hong Jie has made history as the 62nd Singapore Company's first-ever President's Award recipient, presented by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam on 22 July 2026. Our alumnus was honored for his outstanding leadership, mentorship, and dedicated service to The Boys' Brigade and the wider community.
It is with great gratitude, pride and joy that we announce our first ever President's Award recipient, SCL Lee Hong Jie, for the 62nd Singapore Company.
Primer Hong Jie was awarded the President's Award by the President of the Republic of Singapore, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam on 22 July 2026.
We honour Primer's Hong Jie's commitment to serving not only the 62nd Company but the Boy's Brigade in Singapore and in many areas for the community as well.
As a proud Alumni, Primer Hong Jie has embodied the School's Mission to nurture and empower Orchidians to be their best so as to lead and serve.
He has played a meaningful role in shaping the lives of Boys under his command such as being the Camp Commander for the Company's Leadership Training Camp in March 2025 and has actively participated in countless HQ events in his 3 years of service, most notably in BB Blaze and the 95th Anniversary Celebrations last year.
Congratulations SCL Lee on your groundbreaking achievement and for pioneering a path forwards for many future President's Men from the 62nd. You have done well as a Mentor, Guide, Brother and Son!
